The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, designed for all motorcyclists who ride in warm and summer weather, the Racing 5 Leather Jacket is a regular-fit, sporty motorcycle jacket made from premium 1.2mm Tutu cowhide. A focus on ergonomics led to a study of the riding position, focusing on details such as reducing pressure on the neck, thanks to the Veloce Racing Neck system, and ensuring maximum comfort and mobility with the inclusion of large inserts in bi-stretch S1 fabric and adjustments at the sides.

Riding comfort is combined with superior levels of protection. Certified to the EN 17092 Class AA standard, the Racing 5 features Level 2 CE-certified composite protectors on the elbows and shoulders, replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders for a more natural slide in the event of a fall, and a pocket designed to accommodate a type G back protector and chest protector.

Thanks to the correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without having to buy a larger size. This prevents the protectors from shifting in the wrong area during a fall, thanks to the proper fit of the sleeves, always ensuring the rider receives maximum protection. Furthermore, the loops for attaching the Smart Air to the jacket allow both to be removed and put on in a single movement, ensuring the airbag is always correctly positioned under the jacket. Further enhancing the functionality of this garment, in any weather condition, is a convenient internal waterproof pocket for storing electronic devices in case of inclement weather, and ventilation on the chest and air extraction zips on the sides for sessions in high temperatures.
